Eddie B Since you are a fan of Christian Dailly, can you remember when your hero lost a tooth at Rotherham I think it was. At the end of the match he spent some time looking for it. My dentist managed to fix it back in for him and also made two gum shields for him, one claret and blue, and the other blue and white for his games for Scotland.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Kenny Dalglish had a trial at the Hammers late 60's. That was one that got away!!

John Lyall qualifies as he was born in Ilford to Scottish parents. If he hadn't got a career ending injury,he might even have become the fourth World Cup hero, subject to him picking Engerland over the jocks.

I think it fair to say Houghton is Scottish in the same way as saying John Lyall is English ! - Houghton was born to an Irish parent and Lyall was to a Scottish one!!
PS. Don Hutchinson - again debate about whether Scottish or not but did play for them I suppose ..lives near me. While never succesful with us, he remains pro West Ham and enjoys living around here.

McKnight northern Irish, ended up playing for Romford.
Ray Houghton born in Glasgow to Irish father. You can't say he was successful at West Ham because John Lyall in his wisdom released him much to Alvin Martin's shock. In fact Alvin went storming into Lyall's office to protest at Lyall's decision.

He's an Irishman at football though. So does he qualify?
Always comes across really well, even if he is affiliated with Celtic.

To be fair that's practically Scotland. Unintelligible Northern shitcunts to a man once you get further north than Berkshire.
